       There are four or five convenience stores, three with gas, (La Tienda, Lake Roberts, Hupp's and The Mimbres Store) one with a hardware store associated (Hupp's). The Mimbres Store carries beer and liquor.  If you care about healthy eating, try the new Valle Mimbres Market.  They have a great selection of organic fruits and vegetables, sodas, some dry goods, and even organic chocolate.  They're open Thursday - Monday, but not Sunday.  You can reach them at 505-536-9359, or by e-mail, at vallemimbres@gilanet.com.
       Crow Designs is a source for web designers to pick up backgrounds, bars, buttons, and design hints. He'll also make a beautiful website for you. Check out the stuff at his website here.
       Lake Roberts is a recreational area good for fishing and hiking. The Lake Roberts General Store has cabins associated with it, so you can enjoy a good nights sleep while touring the area. The store and cabins are for sale. See their website for more information.
       The Spirit Canyon Lodge & Cafe is another good place to try for food, lodging, birding, or other vacation activities. Their website is here.
       For medical problems, try the Mimbres Clinic 536-3990. There's also the Mimbres Valley Family Support Center, which offers help and information on all aspects of family life. When you're in need of a massage, call Gerri Spiller (lic 3581) at 313-1134 or e-mail for pain relief or stress management. She's near the Sister's Restarant on Galaz Street.
       There's a place to get a car fixed or possibly buy one, (the Mimbres Garage), and various folks who work from their homes.

      We have a number of electricians. Try Amber Electric at 536-9964, or Dames Electric at 388-8097.
     Mountain Heating and Cooling will take care of all you plumbing needs including backhoe work. Call them at 536-3248.
     The Main Line will take care of sewer and drain problems, whether commercial of residential. They're at 537-2860.

     There are a few restaurants in the valley. When you're in the area, try the Sisters Restaurant or the Mimbres Valley Cafe for some good food.
    
       Everybody loves an auction, and we've got the Desert West Auction. They have a website showing their treasures, and you can bid in person, by phone, or on E-bay.
        There's a senior citizen center that has a busy schedule including lunch from Mon. to Fri. Give them a call at 536-9990.
      We have churches of various denominations, and even a Buddhist retreat center, Southwest Sangha. Contact them at 536-9847.
